From Uncertain, Tx to the Trailer Park

VuDuRvR (voodoo river) are virtual artists, fronted by Hard Luck Charlie Bad (vocals) and Papa Legba (DJ/Producer) formed in 2023 in a small town by Caddo Lake named Uncertain, Texas. They are known for doing very little, actually. but occasionally the come up with a song or beat. Their haphazard style is a jambalaya of post-electro swamp phonk, and various cyber sub-genres, such as deep Southern-glitchcore and Hyper-Chitlins, with elements of various obscure influences, such as Chicken Pickin'-Step, Hillbilly-Washboard Electro-Jams, Underground Metaverse-Rave Culture, with some DC Go-Go thrown in, creating a very disturbing, jarring yet spicy sound.

The experience is named after the Voodoo practices of the people who influenced and created the ancient cultural practices which collided with other cultures in the region, and whose river formed the center of all life, death, and spiritual renewal. Their one and only project, VuDuRvR, will be released whenever they feel like it and only when it's real. There will never be another VuDuRvR project.

Their underground cult-following has thus far reach 3.5 million (disaffected) people through word-of-mouth social media community-infiltration. They hope that only cool people continue to like it, or else they'll kust kill the whole thing. No joke...It's just not worth it if it's not about the art.

The two creators have spent blood, sweat, and tears creating a labor of love through the Unreal Engine gaming platform, where all shows and experience will take place. The story also exists in one of our other favorite places; a comic book. A virtual tour will be planned as well as shows in the friggin' 'Metaverse', or whatever you want to call it now, but everyone is invited to come and participate. You are a participant, not merely a spectator. Charlie Bad judges no one...Papa Legba, maybe, but not Charlie.

VuDuRvR is an interactive experience where the fan and the artist are one..where we can all hang out together, listen to music, make music, and tell VuDu stories by the fire with our friends.
